Be in compliance with the training requirement for the revised Hazard Communication Standard if required by your state’s Department of Labor
OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HazCom) is aimed at helping employers protect those in the organization
from the effects of exposure to hazardous chemicals used or stored in the work setting. Organizations are required
to ensure that everyone who has the potential to be exposed to a hazardous chemical takes training in the revised
Hazard Communication Standard by December 1, 2013. The revised OSHA standard aligns with the Globally
Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.
Our six-module training provides information on:
- Purposes of the Hazard Communication Standard
- New chemical label elements
- Revised safety data sheet format
- Minimizing risk
- Exposure monitoring and evaluation
